This application note is to make
everyone aware of the different sensor lines that Cross Automation
represents and give a breakdown of the different areas each line
represents. |

Objectives
- Provide a document that can be used by
FAM’s, ISR’s, AE’s, FAE’s and customers that will help someone
understand what sensor lines we carry and will be a quick reference
tool when determining which product to use.
- Provide
a breakdown of each of the sensor manufacturers that Cross Automation
represents into what products are in their sensor line

Application
Challenges to Consider
- What is the target we are looking to
sense and its characteristics?
- How
far away from the target do we need to be?
- What kind of resolution does the
application require?
- Is the physical size of the sensor
critical?
- What type of output do you need from the
sensor?
- What is the environment the sensor will
be in?

Testing
for a Solution
- Try to get a sample of the product.
(i.e. good part, bad part)

customer understand we have several different sensors from several
lines that we use in our lab for testing. (unless they have a
particular line they prefer)
