Medical Components Sensing with Dynamic Optical Window
 
Description
A medical manufacturer of I.V. catheter products needs to detect various components in an I.V. administration set. These parts are transported from injection molding/manufacturing to inspection stations then on to sterilization and packaging through a maze of pneumatic Lexan pipes. It's essential that all components are present in this I.V. set. Materials of these components are polycarbonate, stainless steel, PVC and silastic.

Objective
Detect components traveling through clear pipes from various areas in plant for assembly, sterilization and packaging. Certain optical products have difficulty looking through the Lexan pipes and seeing the moving components.

Solution
Install Dynamic Optical Window, appropriate to fixed pipe diameter to detect moving parts through this pneumatic system with accuracy.
