Prerequisites Course Overview
Experience with Microsoft Windows operating system.

This course will cover the hardware and software features of the MP900 series of controllers.  Students will learn how to commission and program in the LadderWorks  ladder logic editor of the MotionWorks development  environment.  The ladder logic instructions and memory map of  internal registers will be discussed.  The control methods for the motion, including torque, speed, phase, and position will be covered.  Traditional analog and high speed digital network control will be discussed.  Students will be exposed to the methods for incremental and absolute positioning, electronic gearing , and electronic cam profiling.  The text based motion language will also be explored.
