Upon course completion the student will be capable of:

  •  Navigating the Yterm environment
  • Commissioning the Legend drive and the SMC 3010 controller
  • Programming the SMC3010 for a variety of motion applications including relative and absolute moves, gearing and camming.
  • Troubleshooting the systems with the available diagnostic codes and messages.

Prerequisites Course Overview
A laptop computer with Yterm software package loaded.  Basic programming skills.

This course is designed to give the student a basic understanding of the hardware and software of the Legend MC system.  Hardware will be provided for the many hands-on exercises.
