System Solutions
- Solved the
application using the STI MS4600 light curtain. The MS4600
is what we refer to as a two box system. It eliminates the
need of having a separate controller. It also has individual
beam indicators (STI patent) that makes alignment very easy
- Used the
safety distance calculation to make sure that we were the
proper distance away from the point of operation, which will
allow the machine to stop without allowing anyone to get
hurt
- Referenced
all applicable OSHA and ANSI standards for this type of
machine and industry
Customer Benefits
- Customer
does not have to worry about operators and others in the
work area getting injured
- Customer
knows product complies with all OSHA and ANSI standards,
including the safety distance formula
- Customer
doesn’t have to worry about finding space to mount external
controller since it is built into the curtain
