Description
An OEM of label manufacturing and dispensing machinery uses Leuze metal-framed slot sensors to detect registration marks on a clear background. Cutting and placement of labels is controlled by the slot sensor positioned at 3 locations on the machinery. Devices using adjustment potentiometers can be inadvertently or intentionally misadjusted, disturbing the synchronous function of the machine. Set-up time can also be lengthy.

Provide a control which is easy and fast to set up, smaller than competitive devices, and reliable in determining registration marks from the transparent background.
