Prerequisites Course Overview
Experience with ladder programming is required.  eLearning modules for the MP2300 must be completed before attending this class. This course will cover the hardware and software features of the MP900 and MP2000 series of controllers. Students will learn how to commission and program in the LadderWorks ladder logic editor of the MotionWorks development environment. The ladder logic instructions and memory map of internal registers will be discussed. The control methods for the motion, including torque, speed, phase, and position will be covered. Traditional analog and high speed digital network control will be discussed. Students will be exposed to the methods for incremental and absolute positioning, electronic gearing , and electronic cam profiling. The text based motion language will also be explored.
