DOD - UID Compliance
Need information and assistance on achieving DOD UID
compliance?
Unique Identification (IUID) is a new method
established by the Department of Defense (DOD) to
identify its tangible assets. Suppliers are required
to encode the IUID data into a 2D Data Matrix symbol
and directly apply it to specific tangible items to
help facilitate item tracking in DOD business
systems. The data will also be used for management,
financial, accountability, and asset management
purposes.
