Phoenix Contact has released the first internationally approved industrial three-phase QUINT POWER Supply with 20A output. This compact 24V dc power supply features a wide range input suitable for the European (3x400 V) and the North American (3x480 V) machine tool, material handling, and automotive production sectors.

These primary switched-mode units are highly efficient, lightweight, and reliable. The rugged, touch-safe stainless steel housing resists chemicals and corrosion, prevents electrical shock, and provides a solid mounting structure. DIN-Rail mounting and pluggable screw cage terminals save time in mounting and provide fast and reliable connections to the field. Copper alloy connectors resist corrosion from harsh environments. All designs incorporate electronic overload and short circuit protected outputs; visual output status indication, and available harmonic filtering for the input. Redundant operation is easily accomplished with no external circuitry. QUINT POWER complies with the latest technical standards such as UL 508, CUL, CE, and NEC Class 2 (1A and 2.5A versions).
